General Rear Housing Modifications

Description

Pictured are several housings modified in a wide variety of ways to suit customer’s needs.

These services are performed in-house to YOUR existing rear end housing.

Available primarily for:  Ford 8.8, Ford 9″, Dana 60 and GM 10/12 Bolt.

We do NOT at this time do leafspring housings / installation of leafspring perches.

We have broken down these needs into several different options:

209-03 ($350-$400) – Install TRZ 209-31 Lower Control Arm Mounts – Includes Mounts and Removal of Existing Brackets

209-05 ($375) – Install 9″ Ford style housing ends / Includes NEW ends of your choice / Narrowing at no additional charge

209-11 ($75)   – Install Lower Control Arm Brace Tube / This goes between the lower mounts and will usually weld to the center section area of housing

209-12 ($125) – Install Bottom Bracing / These are diagonal supports between the axle tubes and the Lower Brace (Lower brace tube required)

209-25 ($200) – Install TRZ Coil-over Mounts / 209-27 or 209-28 Coil-over Mounts included

209-07 ($169) – TRZ Spherical Housing Bearings Installed on Housing

TRZ88RACE ($300) includes: (Available on Foxbody 8.8 Only)

• Full Race Bracing
• Pinion Support Plate
• Lower Cross Brace Between Lower Control Arm Mounts
• Weld Axle Tubes to Center

TRZ88REB ($150) includes: (Available on Foxbody 8.8 Only)

• Rod-End Style Axle Tube Bracing Installed

Pinion Support is NOT Available for the S197 8.8

Lower Control Arm Brackets Can Only Work w/S197 8.8 Housing If Customer is Using a Wishbone

**Customer MUST supply a fairly straight housing that is clear of dirt, debris, and gear oil.  Extra charges will apply to housings that need to be straightened or cleaned.**
